Attorney Jeang was invited on ETTV to advice on the controversial surrogacy case, Anni Manukyan vs. Cha Health Systems, and how this lawsuit will forecast the future for Surrogacy Concierge. The core of the issue is whether or not Cha Health Systems violated their contract by mixing up the embryos involving three couples including the Manukyans. Despite the outcome of the lawsuit, Ms. Jeang ensures on ETTV that Surrogacy Concierge will always meet the needs of the medical laboratory to establish they follow embryo implantation procedure, so the surrogate mother has a safe, healthy and fair pregnancy. Read Evie Jeang's article in Family Law Magazine's entitled "Separation, Divorce and the Surrogacy Process" where she discusses the effect of initiating a divorce during the surrogacy process. She states that "surrogacy can be a daunting task" which evidently can be stressful for a couple. It's not an unheard-of situation where the intended parents decide to get divorced during this journey. However certain ramifications do follow this decision. Surrogacy Concierge's Founder Evie Jeang was recently interviewed by KFI News on the topics of surrogacy, fertility and birthright citizenship. In this interview, she first discusses how a majority of her Asia based clients are not drawn to the United States for its birthright citizenship; but rather the fertility laws and medication that we have. Evie continues to disclose that in some Asian countries, such as China, surrogacy is illegal. It's prohibited to the point that citizens in China cannot even select the gender of your baby.
